I decided to try the mist net in a new location. Which is
slightly more open and more exposed than the last site.
So far it has been more successful in trapping Chaffinches than the last site. With 5 male and 3 female caught.

Juvenile male Bullfinch (left). Red feathers beginning to
grow through (right) is an indication that it is a male.
